In ironies we live
How can something so big be contained in something so small? How come a little piece something can mean so much? The irony of life keeps on and on. Something so special be blown by the wind, be circled down the drain, or even be crashed by a light footstep. Something so big means so little, sometimes it even means nothing.
How come we spend so much time on things that doesn’t really matter,...
Just like a lovely tree caught by a raging fire, you effortlessly crumbled to the ground without a warning, ashed. Should I have stayed, I would have crumbled with you. Tongues of heat and fire ate you whole, bringing to the ground what once was great, bringing with you our clandestine affairs. I would have stayed if my life wouldn’t have knocked me back to reality, a reality where you and I...
You are the past and all that this world endures. You walked right through a portal which brings back a lot of things felt before. What a weird dream it was, to have you back even just from a product of my weaved imagination and peculiar necessities. Was it a reminder, maybe. A reminder of what I can’t run my hands through anymore.

Ganun talaga kapag mahal mo,

There are stories you keep to yourself because it’s too embarrassing for anyone to know.
There are things and people you don’t want to share for you want them to be only yours.
There are times when you just let all the unfelt feelings seep in.
There are moments when you just want to skip through time to just forget.

One of the best feelings in the world is to exchange stories with a stranger. Since you don’t have any background of each other, you can make hell break loose. With a stranger, you get to have a clean slate, a blank personality only you can get to fill. And it’s clearly your choice if you’ll fill it with lies or feed it with your hidden truths.

The problem with me is that I expect so big from something so little. I expect pretty from things I seldom tend. Who would not? Who wouldn’t like things not worked hard for? But all gold doesn’t stay, what more if they’re not earned hard.
The problem with me is I can’t prolong and come up with supporting ideas of a thought. That’s why I’m ending this post with...
It’s only a matter of time before we take a trip down the memory lane. One way or another, we end up taking the strange avenue of life where one lingers for the past and relives it with eyes closed. The past has its haunting ways of getting to us. You dance to the tune where only you can hear and you run from someone only whose footsteps you can feel.
The best way to get out of it is live...
My 18-year-old self.
Once you turn 18, the first thing you are going to learn is how to drive.
You are going to ruin three cars. You’lll crash the first into a gate, bump the second into a pole and graze the third against a truck in the middle of the night then lie about it and get caught by your mother – who will graciously let you off the hook.
After each accident, you will silently vow to...
Life is cruel. It gets you in the most peculiar ways, eating you alive little by little. Sometimes you question the beauty of living when you can most certainly have peace in death. For in death lies nothing, just silence and the end of all means.
Lately I’ve been spending my days on my bed, pondering things that is beyond my usual bounds. Questioning powers, questioning myself, questioning...
Walls crumbling down, distances set forth. Time limiting, friendships gone sour. For a year I had a bittersweet journey. A journey of bland turned sweet and strong made weak. Tables have been turned, attentions divided, loyalty questioned.
But as we take steps away from each other, paving slow distant roads for ourselves, I find myself longing for you. I remember you everywhere, the laughter...
Warning: long photo dump post ahead. Photos are from our Cebu trip. This post is a month late, I know.

Famous postcard Magellan’s Cross.
Lechon Cebu. I can’t really depict the difference with the lechon in Manila. A tang of sourness, maybe?
